Experience:

I graduated from Leeds University in Human Geography and then undertook a primary PGCE. I have been teaching in primary schools for 8 years and tutoring numerous children throughout that time. I have extensive experience tutoring both KS1 and KS2 boys and girls in maths and english, helping with homework and preparing students for exams. I aim to make each session engaging and practical as well as planning it extensively to build on their previous knowledge. I have been a PE and Swimming Teacher to both primary and secondary students for 4 years with three of those years working in Dubai. 

Approach:

I try to make my lessons as practical and as interesting as possible. I find it beneficial to ask the pupil and parent what area they would like to focus on, this is particularly helpful as they will know if they have an area of weakness.
