BSc Biological Science, PGCE secondary Science

Experience:

I graduated from The University of Edinburgh with a honours in Biological Science (BSc). I completed my PGCE at Manchester University. I have been teaching Science for 7 years. My most recent GCSE class received 100% A*-B and my A Level Biology class received 80% A*-B. I have a high success rate with private tuition students.

Approach:

The first lesson will act as a diagnostic so I can tailor my lessons to the student specific needs. Each lesson will look at a few areas of development from the students exam curriculum. I use whiteboards/paper to teach mini lessons and then focus on exam technique by setting questions and picking apart mark schemes.
