BA (HONS) English, PGCE QTS, Masters in Education

Experience:

I have sixteen years experience teaching English, and three years as Head of English, in the United Kingdom and the UAE. I trained at London University which has provided a strong foundation for my success. I am conscientious with a history of excellent examination results and 'Outstanding' outcomes in school inspections. I have a passion for Education and am always committed to my school and students with regard to both teaching and learning, wellbeing and pastoral support.

Approach:

I have outstanding subject knowledge and a background of getting 100% of my students the grade they want in their exams. I am meticulous in my planning and preparation and carefully personalise my materials to the individual student's needs, abilties and learning tyles. I have a portfolio of testimonials, qualifications and evidence of my achievements and projects which I bring to my first tutoring session.
