Experience:

  I have 5 years teaching experience and I am currently acting as head of department in a British International School. I worked in an outstanding school in the UK for 4 years before moving to my current position in a very good school over here.  I have been consistently rated as outstanding and try to make lessons challenging and engaging for all. I have a degree in Modern Foreign Languages having studied French, German and Spanish and a Masters in Education. I can teach French to German to GCSE level and Spanish up to KS3. I have experience of teaching both the AQA GCSE and Cambridge IGCSE syllabuses. I aim to always make lessons interactive, engaging and challenging and place a strong focus on developing pupils’ confidence and enjoyment of the subject alongside their ability to speak, listen, read and write in the language.     

Approach:

I am very approachable, patient and understanding and feel I can help any pupil achieve. I have previously had excellent working relationships with all of the pupils I have tutored. I enjoy teaching languages in an engaging way so that pupils develop a passion as well as an understanding of languages. I aim to make learning fun and entertaining but challenging! However I am flexible in my teaching and can adapt to your/your child’s needs.
