Experience:

My name is Samantha andI have been teaching in Dubai for three years at an Outstanding British curruculum school. I have five years of teaching experience with children aged 5-11 in all curriculum subjects but specialise in reading and writing. I am an organised and dedicated teacher with excellent interpersonal skills. Children enjoy my style of teaching and I believe that building a strong relationship with children is the key to them being facilitators of their own learning and making the most personal progression that they are capable of. I would love to work with you and your children to support their individuals needs within their learning.

Approach:

I would start by getting to know the child's personality and their current abilities and needs as a learner. I would then try to plan in relation to what they are learning in school or teach any gaps I feel the child might have. Hands on resources will be provided and the child will learn through playing and interaction before applying their new skills . I would like to informally assess the child every month or so to measure the progress.
