Experience:

I have completed the International Baccalaureate myself. I tutored students from Grade 9 -11 for 3 years, for IB students taking English Literature. I can help with "Works in Translation" essay, IOCs, IOPS, paper 1 and paper 2 skills. For IB History, I can help with IAs, how to tackle Paper 1s and content for paper 2 and 3. I can provide the students with my own ready-made notes. For Economics I can help with IAs, learning the content, and skills needed for paper 3.

Approach:

Having completed the International Baccalaureate myself, I reckon I have a good understanding of how much time must be allocated to each subject and assignment. I like to make weekly plans with a student, going over exactly what they will be doing each day after school. I always supply my students with my own personalized notes. While completing assignments, I will make them complete it first and then spend 30-40 minutes building on what they have done. I feel that this builds a sense of confidence and independence within the student as they are doing the work themselves.
