Experience:

I have 10 years of teaching experience. I have thaught all levels of Primary Education and also Secondary Mathematics to A-Levels. I like to use a child centred approach where the student is actively engaged in, and directing their own learning.

Approach:

Before I plan my lessons I like to perform a short assessment with a child. This allows me to see what strengths and weaknesses a child has. It will also give me an idea of what teaching methodologies would best suit the child. I will then tailor my lessons to the needs of the child with a focus on teaching methodologies that suit the child. I also try to accentuate the strengths of the child throughout my teaching.
