Experience:

I have over ten years tutoring experience. I worked in Los Angeles for 3 years with the No Child Left Behind program. I was trained to be a tutor and home school instructor. I have tutored students in grades 1 to 8 in English, Math, Science, Social Studies and general homework support. A Native English speaker, I hold a certification for teaching English as a second language. I also taught English in Korea and have been working in Dubai for 5 years in American Curriculum schools.

Approach:

I believe in encouraging and supporting students while also giving them the skills and confidence to achieve their goals independently. It is important to find out the child's learning style and cater lessons to how they best learn. I believe in finding ways to make learning fun so the child enjoys learning.
