PGCE in Primary Education

Experience:

I have 11 years teaching experience teaching across all primary grade levels (ages 4 to 11).In addition I have 7 years TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language)experience bringing homestay students to Ireland and teaching them English and organising tours to places of interest.

Approach:

Teaching Approach Create a friendly, relaxed and happy atmosphere. Deliver lessons in a fun way and always in the best interest of the children. Use of practical ‘hands on’ approach. Motivate children to reach their potential through developing their individual creativity. Use of praise and encouragement to motivate children. Approachable and patient, ensuring the children have a clear understanding of the lesson. Key Skills Ability to quickly adapt teaching approach/style to different age groups. Flexibility in lesson delivery recognising the different rates of progress. Developing relationships with pupils and parents.
