Experience:

I have been working as a mandarin teacher at an International School in Dubai. The age ranges of my students are from early year learners to adults, at different levels from beginner to advanced with various nationalities. Extensive experience in teaching students from the age group of 4-6 yrs, 7-9 yrs, 11-14 yrs, and adults.

Approach:

For young learners, the Mandarin program will be uniquely designed to ensure maximum language exposure through well-designed plays, activities, music and nursery rhymes, arts and crafts. Topic-based learning content such as numbers, colors, shapes, body and face features, fruits and vegetables, family members, daily routines, basic greetings and other useful contents will be introduced in a fun, vibrant, and interactive way to children. For teenagers and adults, my teaching will be specially designed to develop their communicative ability in Chinese by learning new words, structures, functions and related cultural knowledge as well. Teaching materials are students' centered and determined by students' needs. strongly recommend HSK standard course books which is the most commonly used curriculum for foreigners.
