B.A in mathematics and music, Higher diploma in education in mathematics and music

Experience:

I have been teaching mathematics at both higher and ordinary levels for 6 years and tutoring one on one with fantastic results during this time also. I pride myself on building positive relationships with students allowing them to feel comfortable to ask questions/ engage in their learning. I develop my lessons around individual students prior knowledge and sculpt their learning by building on this.

Approach:

During my tutoring time I aim to encourage and motivate my students in their study of mathematics and impart a deep understanding of basic mathematical skills. I work on building this understanding up to the point where students will be able to independently tackle more diffficult exam questions.
