My name is Camilla, I am a Year 4 teacher with over 4 years experience in primary education including working with SEN children. I have a PGCE in Primary Education and understand the challenges of the British Cirriculum. I am offering a 1-1 serivice on weekday evenings, to help your child gain more confidence in their learning, consolidate their learning from school or prepare them for their SATs.

Approach:

As expectations are constantly rising, I focus on: boosting children's literal and inference skills, helping them access unfamiliar text types. Using fun and interactive ways of learning and retaining skills for Grammar, Spelling and Punucation. Up levelling children's writing with a creative stimulus and builiding vocabulary. I also provide children with a deeper knowledge of Maths using various resources and methods. I aim to make each session fun and interactive, and most importantly ensure that each child is stretched and challenge to their own personal targets.
