Experience:

I have taught IBMYP Secondary Science, as well as IBDP Chemistry for 4 years. I have a secondary teaching certificate in Chemistry and Math. In terms of tutoring, I have been working with a range of students, with different needs and backgrounds. I have tutored Chemistry and Math at IBDP, IGCSE, A-Level, and Pre-AP level. I have also worked with students in Biology and Physics at IB MYP, IGSCE, and High School level. I love working with students and supporting them in meeting their potentials.

Approach:

I care about catering my lessons to each individual student's strengths and desired learning strategies. I find it important to provide engaging situations for students that build their confidence and allow them to see their competencies in the topic they are working on. I am highly organized and like to make sure that the students have a key understanding of the content and examples that can then support them in their own practice and application of the information. I am keen on supporting students in creating their own study guides in ways that help them represent the knowledge effectively, so that they develop a strong grasp of the content. I am very keen on obtaining feedback from students and communicating with them effectively so that I can fully support them in every possible way!
