Double bachelor of Arts in Geology and History

Experience:

I believe in imparting knowledge, training, development, patience and always giving people opportunities to learn and grow. I have taught peers, workshops, lectures, have also tutored neighborhood children, have worked at local training institutions tutoring students and currently have active students. I teach from kindergarten through grade 7. I particularly work with my students on English, Humanities, Science, Math, Islamic Studies, History, Geography, Earth Sciences, and Arabic.

Approach:

I like to get to know my students first and foremost. Building a connection and understanding the child is paramount to the child accepting me as a teacher and being in his/her life. I like to study in advance of what the child is doing so I can be fully prepared and maximise the lessons. I believe in going down to the level of the child, not to expect the child to come up to my level. However, I also impart tricks and tips to my children to help elevate their skills and performance. I strive to ensure that the child does his/her best at all times and even if time runs out I ensure to follow up with the parent/child to ensure the homework or assignments are done and that he/she did well at school. I also love giving positive encouragement and re-enforcement to support the growth and success of the child.
