Experience:

I have 5 year teaching experience, Bachelor of education, Masters in Education and Bachelor of Arts in English I am a very experienced teacher and have worked with children who have a variety of learning styles. I am able to adapt my teaching to suit the specific needs of the child, providing the best results. I am competent across all areas of the British curriculum. I have expertise in the areas of Maths and English, have received many certificates in these fields.

Approach:

I believe it is important to assess a student's needs first, to identify their strengths. I will then speak with parents and children to establish the areas of difficulty. I will create a plan and material that is appropriately challenges with multiple means of representation. I listen to the needs of individuals. Students learning styles differ greatly, a one size does not fit all when it comes to learning. My tutoring consists of supporting the child for homework, providing tools to allow them complete questions with ease but also allowing the child to progress to ensure they are prepared for the next level and greater exposure.
