Extensive Experience in tutoring both at College Level and for Exam preparation. Netherlands: English tutoring for an Italian and a Chinese student. Legal tutoring and Moot Court/Exam Preparation for Law Students India: Regular tutoring for Taxation at ILS Law College, Pune.

Approach:

The first few classes are generally spent in covering the basic elements of the subject, while at the same time gauging the student's ability to grasp and identify areas where extra work would be required. Accordingly, a structured study schedule is prepared, which is tailored to match the student's learning ability and availability schedule. My USP stems from the personalized approach where the level and amount of subject-matter covered in each class is suited to the particular student. For example, I tutored a student who was having trouble grasping concepts in Accountancy. However, after a few initial classes I realized that the problem was not in accounting concepts but in his fear of mathematics. Accordingly, the classes were modified to cover accounting principles in pure theory form and subsequently with alphanumeric's replacing the numbers. This greatly sped up the learning and subsequently we were able to spend time overcoming the difficulty with maths, however, this was a far easier task since he was completely comfortable with the accountancy principles.
