Experience:

I have taught and tutored students- ages 4-12 for the past 5 years. From experience, I have seen how important early intervention is, and the progression from students I have tutored. I like teaching in a fun and engaging manner as it is most beneficial. I once tutored 5 year old twins who were struggling with phonics and the progression was incredible (top of the class now aged 7). I also tutored Maths/ English to a girl (9) who struggled as she had dyslexia and she also progressed very well.

Approach:

I like to spend time building up a good relationship with the child as it is so important that they feel safe and comfortable in my presence and that they can ask me questions. This builds up the child's confidence and therefore enhances the child's learning. My lessons are centred around the needs of the child and I will work with them to build on their weaknesses.
