BSc Physics from Sheffield University, PGDipEd: Science from The University of Birmingham

Experience:

I currenlty work as the Head of Physics at an international school in Dubai. I have been teaching for 5 years within the IB and British Curriculum, with experience in teaching A level, DP, MYP and GCSE physics. I'm also experienced in teaching KS3 science, in addition to tutoring math students up to A level. 

Approach:

I take pride in my ability as a teacher, being able to implement a range of strategies to promote the highest possible progress and attainment for all students. Promoting innovation and collaboration within my teaching, helps to instil independent learning and self-belief, allowing students to create their own thoughts and ideas in order to propel them into their future careers, some of which don’t even exist yet.  In addition, I aim to teach with enthusiasm, passion and humour where appropriate, to promote engagement, allowing students to take full advantage of their potential. Education is an individual, personal experience for every student who enters the classroom therefore, empowering students to take responsibility for their own education and development is necessary in order to provide the next generation with the skills needed to lead the world forward.
