Experience:

I have been teaching for a total of 7 years. 4 years in the UK & 2 years in Qatar-hence I have a clear understanding of working with children from all different cultures. I am a motivated teacher and thrive on getting the best results for my students. I have a Degree & PGCE. I can teach a range of subjects from PE, Biology, Design Technology & English. I have taught over the past 6 summers in USA-acting as the waterfront director which included lifeguarding, waterski instructor & swim teacher.

Approach:

I am a very caring and patient teacher, I believe that building a good relationship with students is important in the aid of their development. My teaching style varies depending on the child's needs, I tend to use a lot of visual aids to help build a solid understanding of what we are learning, as well as making lessons creative and fun to keep the child(ren) engaged. I use a lot of resources and equipment in the hopes of developing knowledge and understanding. I asses the child's needs at the start of every lesson to see where/ what we can improve and develop.
