Early Childhood Education ( Math, Science, English) and Middle Grades Math

Experience:

I have been teaching for 5-6 years now. While I currently teach Cycle 2 Math, I am also certified in grades k-5 all subjects ( English, Math, Science, and Reading). I pride myself in my hands on approach to teaching. It is my passion to see children grow in their understanding and I will do whatever it takes to see each child succeed as best they can.

Approach:

Typically I plan my lessons in the classroom around the needs of my students. I strive to make them as interactive as possible and understand that adjustments are needed and am flexible with regard to my students. My tutoring style is synonymous, as in I try to see what the student's need is first based off what they can recall to me, and move forward in trying to get a better understanding of what they are missing. Encouragement is a constant. Whether it be with Intrinsic or Extrinsic motivation tactics, I strive to get the the best results possible.
