Experience:

I am a teacher from Ireland. I trained for my Post Graduate in Education in the UK. I have been teaching in Ireland for the last 5 years and moved to Abu Dhabi last year where I am a teacher in Kindergarten. My style of teaching is structured, student led, visual and interactive. I deliver my lesson using visual aids and interactive games and resources that the children seem to enjoy. I am very dedicated to teaching and I am always researching how I can deliver effective and interactive lessons.

Approach:

I plan my lesson around what the children need to learn. I research online, how I can deliver effective and interactive lessons. I use interactive, visual resources to allow the children to learn effectively. I use detailed worksheets and resources to help the children get the best from my lesson. I use song and actions to help with the learning of phonics as well as using play dough and sand to help make letters and help them with letter formation. My tutoring techniques are much the same as my teaching style in the classroom. I provide simple, effective and interactive lessons that will help the children get the best from the lesson. The children can play interactive games to help with their learning as well as completing simple worksheets that will enable them to get the best from the lesson/topic being studied.
