B.A. in Construction Management

Experience:

13 yrs exp as a Relief Teacher as well as Tutor in Singapore. Comfortable with 1 to 1 teaching and group classes of max 30 students. My Qualifications include B.A in Construction Management and Dip in Landscape architecture. Top 25% ranking in the English Language in (RMIT Aus) specialising in the Cambridge Syllabus of the E.L. I also coach E.L. in Adults and phonics for Kindergarten levels. I believe in teaching with utmost professionalism and would to cater to time and location preferred.

Approach:

I would usually check my Student's syllabus beforehand and plan my lessons accordingly. I would also assess and discuss with the student to identify weak areas and areas for coaching and improvement so that I can customise a more suitable lesson plan. I would also supplement these lessons with Assessment books, Practice exam papers as well as Reading materials to ensure what is taught is being practised. I am a believer of good vocabulary as a fundamental way of learning the English language as such I would strongly encourage my students to have a dictionary on hand during my classes and to complete a homework of learning 5 new words each week amongst other techniques which I will carry out and customise as per student's capabilities.
