Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Bachelor of Arts Honors (B.A.H)

Experience:

I am a Canadian teacher (native English-speaker). I have lived and taught in different countries including Canada, UK and the UAE. I have experience teaching a variety of curriculums - Canadian, American, British and IB (PYP). I have taken on a number of school leadership posts in the past, including Maths Curriculum Coordinator. My greatest strengths are strong organisation skills and subject knowledge, friendly personality, and a commitment to helping children achieve their greatest potential.

Approach:

I believe that my previous tutoring experiences as well as my 8+ years as a classroom teacher are invaluable experiences that have contributed greatly to my ability to aid children in meeting their academic goals. As a teacher, I always plan my lessons with each child's individual needs in mind. Additionally, I try to incorporate creative approaches and hands-on manipulatives so that children are always engaged in the learning.
