English male passionate about Mental Mathematics and calculation, I believe the methods of teaching Maths today are outdated, and need to be enhanced so students can approach numbers with ease. I specialise in teaching Maths in an entertaining way that my students will remember. The pace of the course is adapted depending on the individuals needs, and it's important for me to understand how the student learns and retains information, in order to improve their learning.

Approach:

Please calculate 97 x 13 in your head. Seems impossible? I firmly believe I can teach any student to calculate this sum (and others!) mentally within 1/2 months. I will structure my lessons gradually, introducing new layers and ensuring through the process that the student is retaining and practicing the material taught. My style of teaching is unique and focused primarily on making numbers more interesting and entertaining, so students will retain these skills for life. Often, I will use visual association to help points become more clear. For those skeptical, I would be delighted to provide a demonstration of my services. Please note that I specialise only in Mental Arithmatic and Pen & Paper calculation skills. Math isn't for geniuses, anyone can become good at it!
