Experience:

I help the students to understand the topics and how to apply it. Application based learning helps the student to grasp the concept much better. This helps in building a good base for future studies. Since i did engineering, i can help exactly on that. I dont like students mugging up or remembering maths formulas as they will only forget it soon. Its much better if they practice the problems or go through it more often so it will be a part of their life.

Approach:

Normally i connect with the students first. This helps in knowing the student and their level of knowledge on a particular subject. Next I make the students a brief about the topic and ask questions to them to understand what they understood. They sit further to solve much more problems. I give similar questions if taking maths and gradually increase the difficulty level. Later I give them a mix of different questions (some outside questions as well) and this gives them confidence about the topic.
