Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology, Professional Diploma in Education, ACELS TEFL Certified

Experience:

I have taught piano and prepared students for the Royal Irish Academy of Music piano examinations. I hold a BA in English and Psychology and a PDE in secondary education from the National University of Ireland Galway. I taught in London for over 3 years where I received QTS. I also hold an ACELS certified TEFL qualification and have taught at a summer school for European students visiting Ireland.

Approach:

I believe students receiving private tuition should receive what isn't always readily available in a large classroom of 20+ students due to time and resource limitations placed on the teacher, that is careful attention, focused direction and an opportunity for questions and discourse, all focused on enhancing that individual student's learning needs.
