Experience:

Throughout my tutoring experience, I found that understanding how the student receives information best is the starting point to a good learning program. I am organized, patient and always very well prepared; I graduated from my bachelor's program (BBA in Finance and Accounting) top of my class and am currently writing my dissertation for my MSc in Business Strategy. I am also a financial analyst at a brokerage firm in Dubai where I apply all that I am signed up to teach on a daily basis.

Approach:

I like to prepared and therefore request that the student send me course material ahead of time in order for me to prepare a study plan (includes lessons to be covered, exercises etc..). I usually set a schedule to ensure the student gets all the benefits they expect from me. My lessons provide a clear breakdown of material (problems, concepts) as to pinpoint the student's main difficulty or areas that require development and based on that, I select an appropriate teaching approach. I find that practice makes perfect and that a step by step method does the trick when students feel overwhelmed with heavy concepts. Also bringing real life examples of concepts or problems is essential while teaching as students respond better to material they believe is essential for work or future development.
