Experience:

I have completed my Masters in Education in Ireland and I have three years teaching and tutoring experience. I have also tutored a number of children around Dubai after school. I like to promote discovery learning where the child is encouraged to solve the problems themselves. I always build a good trusting rapport with the child and have complete confidence in them to become higher achievers. improving their independent learning and enhancing their innovation skills.

Approach:

I sit down with the parent and child and complete a timetable and discuss the child's strengths and weaknesses. I examine the child's school and workbooks and plan accordingly to what the child is covering in school or I can adapt to whatever the parent feels is necessary to tutor. I use my experience as both a teacher and a tutor to plan a mix of lessons, such as worksheets, problem solving, creative writing and completing experiments. I have always seen improvements in the children I have taught. I am hardworking, dedicated and knowledgeable teacher who loves teaching and seeing a child's results improve. As well as this, I always stay beyond the hour to ensure that learning has taken place, if perhaps we are still in the middle of an exercise that needs to be completed.
