Experience:

Currently teaching in a British Curriculum school in Dubai. I Communicate regularly and have developed fantastic working relationships with parents of the students that I teach. I plan and deliver exciting and appropriate lessons to meet the specific needs of all of my students, taught students with behavioural and learning difficulties including autism.

Approach:

Child initiated learning is an integral part of learning and I base activities around what the children are most interested in, with the right scaffolding and environment the children make good progress. I believe that my calm and caring approach to my students enables them to find the courage to challenge themselves and find different methods to support their learning. I pride myself on setting high but appropriate expectations of each student and encourage them to always try their best to develop their potential both in and outside of school.
