Qualification:

PGCE primary education

Experience:

British, U.K. trained primary school teacher, with over 11 years experience. Strong background in early literacy skills, helping children to read and write. With a proven track record of excellerating progress. Experience within British curriculum schools in Uk, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Previously working at senior management level. Competent in tutoring in any subject area with children aged 3-11. Experienced in teaching EAL (English as an additional language) to both adult and children.

Approach:

Sessions are planned after an initial meeting and assessment of the individuals needs. Each session shall be reviewed and will then inform the future planning. Sessions will be planned interactively and ensuring that the individual is engaged and enthusiastic. I try where possible to base sessions around the likes of the individual to ensure they are interested in their learning. Praise and positivity are always evident and strong rapports are developed.
