Experience:

Cambridge trained teacher experienced in GCSE, A Level, Common Entrance and IB. I focus on interactive, example-based teaching to make the subject real and hence more accessible. My main area of expertise is in improving grade performance in assessment through an understanding of the content and improving a student's ability to interpret questions and phrase answers. I keep up to date with developments in educational psychology and apply this understanding to my teaching.

Approach:

After an initial session where I will assess the tutee's abilities, weaknesses and desired outcome, I would set goals and a time-frame with the student and tailor the plan of instruction to these.
