Experience:

I have experience in teaching practical and theoretical architectural design classes at University level. I also organized and taught architectural technology classes, including analogue and digital technical drawing and communication, and how to integrate them with design. I proposed a modified curriculum for the teaching of design and architectural drawing at the University of Kent. In 2016, I was awarded the Annual Prize for Teaching in Architecture at the University of Kent.

Approach:

The design tutoring will help you develop your communication skills, and enhance your design communication. You will be able to understand how and when different design communication levels can be used. The classes are divided into four sections: 1. unpacking our environment through site analysis at a local, global, and planetary environment 2. learning to deal with challenges and possibilities through the analysis of case studies 3. implementation of the acquired knowledge to our everyday practices through both digital and analogue strategies 4. increasing your ability to work with complex architectural projects, and challenging your existing ways of thinking and working. This course will be prepare you for constant change and help you understand the impact our environment has on society, design, and communication.
