Experience:

I have been a teacher for 10+ years. I have taught in three Ofsted inspected "Outstanding" schools, one of which was a preparatory school in the UK. I have taught in Dubai and England. I have experience teaching gifted and talented, as well as children who may need extra support in subjects. I have experience teaching foundation, primary and secondary pupils. I am a fully qualified primary teacher, musician, personal trainer, sports coach and I am also First Aid trained.

Approach:

Lessons are based on the needs and learning approach of my pupils. Although children will work hard they will also work with a purpose. When supporting and teaching my students and I use varied styles including kinaesthetic auditory and visual learning approaches. I look for deep and meaningful learning and understanding so they can apply what they have learnt to abstract situations. With Mathematics, foundation skills are key, especially for children who are finding the subject challenging.
