Bachelor of Education Degree in Education and English

Experience:

I have a Bachelor of Education Degree. I have 6 years teaching experience in total. I have experience teaching English as an additional language. I spent 4 years teaching in Ireland and I also have 2 years teaching experience in Abu Dhabi. I have experience teaching the British curriculum, the IB curriculum and the American Common Core Curriculum. I am currently teaching Grade 3 but I have taught from KG up to Grade 7. I am also a music teacher and can teach guitar, flute and harp.

Approach:

Upon assessing the student in the first meeting I will be in a position to subsequently plan a programme of work that challenges the student but also allows for steady progression. I will achieve this through a variety of fun and stimulating activities that motivates the student to learn.
