English Literature an History BA, English PGCE, Educational Studies MA

Experience:

I have been an English teacher for five years and teach English Literature and English Lanuage to pupils from ages 11-18. I have taught in the UK for four years and recently moved to Dubai where I teach at an International School. I am an enthusiastic teacher and have a great passion for the subject I teach. I am able to teach a range of abilities and ages, and have a Masters in English Educational Practice.

Approach:

My lessons are planned accordingly for the pupils that I tutor and are tailored to meet the pupils' specific needs. It is vital to communicate with pupils (and parents) so that they have clear targets and are working on areas that they need to improve on. I have also been a GCSE examiner therefore I have a secure knowledge of how to guide pupils through their GCSEs, as well as the skills neeeed by younger pupils in order to prepare them for this stage.
