Experience:

I have extensive experience as a teacher across the age range from 4 to 11. I have a good level of experience, due to teaching children in both key stages 1,2 and 3. Currently I am working as a full-time year 6 primary teacher in a British school in Dubai.  This has allowed me to gain valuable experience in preparing pupils for the step up to secondary school, challenging Gifted and Talented pupils and preparing them for exams. I am able to provide tuition for all primary subjects but have a specialisation in Mathematics in KS2 and 3.

Approach:

As a teacher, I seek to be flexible and execute a dynamic approach to learning that will ensure each pupil gains the maximum benefits from one to one tutoring. I believe that each pupil progresses and learns differently and therefore should be taught according to their individual needs and requirements. I have been teaching in various primary schools throughout the South Wales area and have taught between the ages 4 - 11 at different ability levels. I have tutored pupils from local primary schools and gained valuable experience that has positively impacted my teaching strategies and knowledge of tutoring.
