Experience:

I have been teaching internationally for the past four years having spent two years as a Year 6 teacher and Key Stage 2 Coordinator in Egypt and two years in Dubai as a Year 6 and Year 4 teacher. Having qualified with a PGCE in Primary Education, I am very familiar with the National Curriculum of England and Wales and up to date with modern practice.

Approach:

I incorporate challenge for all ability levels into my teaching and engage students through using a range of resources. I am able to provide a personalised programme for all of my students to ensure that the maximum progress possible is made. The planning of my tuition lessons is based upon solid assessment and identifying next steps that learners need to take in order to ensure successful progress for all students. I place a particular emphasis on ensuring that students are included in the target setting process and take time to evaluate their own progress and identify next steps in their learning. This analytical and progressive approach helps me to ensure that students make the best possible progress, particularly when working one-to-one.
