Experience:

I am a highly experienced primary teacher with 13 years experience. In London, I taught across a variety of schools and was also responsible for running a teacher training college and, through this role, granted qualified teacher status (QTS). Due to this, I am highly experienced in teaching strategies and can adequately cater for your child's individual needs. In Dubai, I am part of the Senior Leadership Team for one of Dubai's largest primary schools, where I lead on English.

Approach:

I like to help students learn through planning hands on, real life activities to make learning fun. I believe that every child has the opportunity to succeed if they are given the right tools and taught in a way that suits their needs. Tutoring is excellent as it allows the learning to be adapted to however suits the child best. I am firm but fair and like the tutoring experience to be positive for all. I can help with school projects, assignments, homework as well as plan specific learning opportunities for your child to suit their needs.
