Experience:

I am now in my 10th year of teaching. I have taught children of all levels in the Primary level. I believe that every child has the right to a good and fair education. I completed Psychology as part of my base degree and think it has helped me understand how the child's mind works. My style of teaching is very much explorative and hands-on. I have tutored at home in Ireland before and have enjoyed the experience. I am a very positive and open minded and enjoy new challenges.

Approach:

I plan my lessons according to the child's specific needs. No child is the same. If the child is a visual learner I will make sure to make lessons as interactive and hands-on as possible. If a child likes a challenge, I will alter lessons accordingly. I use many different techniques, from games to IT to concrete materials. Whatever drives the child to explore and get them actively engaged, that is my goal.
