Bachelor degree in primary education, masters in education

Experience:

I am currently in my 8th year of teaching. I have thought and tutored children ranging between 4-12 years old. I have thought the Irish, British and American curriculum. I apply a multi-sensory teaching approach to my classroom and tutoring sessions

Approach:

I deploy a range of teaching styles that take account of every child’s needs. I am a caring and patient teacher with a passion for learning that embraces every lesson. I motivate pupils to discover their strengths and abilities, and to improve in those areas in which they may find difficulties. I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages pupils to prosper within it, and achieve their full potential. Teaching thus far has enabled me to access a range of professional development programmes that have enhanced my teaching most notably, understanding student needs.
