Experience:

In the UK, I held the role of KS2 teacher and EAL (English as a second language) co-ordinator at a London Primary school. I am very experienced in the British curriculum and I am trained to teach all primary ages between 5-11. Presently, I am teaching KS2 (Year 6), preparing them for up-coming SAT examinations. I am a fluent English/Polish speaker and specialise in helping children who have English as a second language develop their reading and writing skills.

Approach:

I believe that all children have the right to learn in a nurturing, supportive and creative environment where they can achieve academically and grow into well- rounded individuals. Providing opportunities for children to express themselves and succeed in becoming independent is of great importance to me and I highly value being a part of this process. I feel that children learn best when they have ownership of their own learning and I encourage my pupils to develop a pro-active, innovative approach to their personal learning journey. I also place a big emphasis on promoting self-esteem and confidence amongst my students.
