Qualification:

BA Honours degree in Mathematics, Business Studies, Accounting and Education.

Experience:

I am a native english speaker from Ireland currently in my 9th year of teaching. I spent 4 years teaching a full-time both KS3 & GCSE mathematics in England. During my time teaching in England, I tutored both KS3 and GCSE mathematics. I am currently teaching Grade 3 in an American International Private school (English, Mathematics and Science). Befor this I was teaching grade 3 in a British International private school here in Abu Dhabi. Happy to tutor: Kindergarten, Primary (english, math, science) and up to GCSE mathematics (as mathematics is my speciality). 

Approach:

Each student will have different learning abilities and educational needs. As a successful tutor, I am able to establish an appropriate connection between an individual student's learning capabilities and the amount of materials to be covered. I am able to help my students to maximize their potential using targeted revision and exam techniques. I am considered to be a patient and adaptable teacher/ tutor. I am a friendly and supportive person who gets excellent results by making lessons fun as well as informative. My pupils have fun while they study and are always proud of their progress. I succeed in encouraging a genuine interest in any subject studied. I always discuss the needs of my new pupils very carefully with their parents and aim to build their confidence in the subject.
