Experience:

I am a qualified Irish primary school teacher with 9 years experience with a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. This is currently my second year in the U.A.E. I have experience with all primary school age groups. I have worked as a mainstream teacher and as a Special Educational Needs teacher, where I worked with children who had mild to severe learning difficulties.  I have a particular interest in reading fluency and comprehension which I dedicated my thesis to during my Masters.

Approach:

My lessons are planned individually to the needs of the child. I assess the best approach for each child and base my tutoring techniques according to the method which helps the child reach their full potential. Assessment is continuous and teaching methods are adaptable and fluid to adapt to the current needs of the child.
