Experience:

I am a young teacher and able to teach at leves students can understand. I have 10 years of teaching experience with PGCE and QTS qualified teaching status. I can apply a variety of teaching methods suited to my students needs, making sure they are able to maximise their progress but at their own pace and requirements. My biggest strength is the abilty to explain complex ideas which are not always easily accessed by students.

Approach:

All lessons are based on individual student needs. I always make my lessons enjoyable through engaging tasks and light hearted humour. One of the key aspects of teaching for me is building a rapport with my students. This allows me to teach them more effectively and it helps maintain a healthy mode of motivation. I allow my students to challenge ideas, even those of the teacher. For it is challenge that exercises the mind and improves students' critical thinking ability, which is a key aspect of education.
