I am a teacher of both secondary and elementary students for about 3 years. I've tried having a tutorial class of English subject after class hours. Usually if I'm teaching those beginners( I've tried teaching English to a Dutch pupil), I started with word by word translation with pictures before moving on to grammar and then writing lessons using English language.
