Experience:

I am a Primary school teacher. I have been teaching in Dubai for 3 years and will be starting my fourth year in September. My current role is as a Foundation Stage 2 teacher in a British curriculum school; previously I worked as Year 1 teacher. I received my teacher trainer in England and have taught in schools in the UK and America.

Approach:

I ensure that children achieve the best they can. In my current class, all of the children achieved above age appropriate levels in reading, writing and maths. This year in my class, I have been able to get children, aged 5, from Oxford Reading Tree (ORT) stage 1 to stage 8 in less than a year and completing year 3 level writing tasks. In maths, the children are also working above age appropriate levels. I use lots of resources to ensure that children learn in a way that is comfortable for them. As a teacher, I have been expertly trained in teaching techniques for children of all ages.
