Experience:

I am a British trained Primary school teacher with 10 years teaching experience of teaching in an international school. I love working with students 1:1 or small groups. I believe learning should be interactive and fun, thus making the learning more memorable. I am trained to teach from 4 to 11 years old. Although I am currently teaching Grade 2. I am looking for after school tutoring or weekends is also possible. Please feel free to ask for more information.

Approach:

Lessons are based on the students individual learning styles and learning needs. An informal assessment will be done first to assess their level. I will tailor the lessons to be of interest to your child, making the learning tasks childcentered and interactive and fun. I will use a range resources of resources and materials, dependany upon the age / learning focus / learning styles of the student. I will give feedback from every lesson to parents to keep them informed of their child's progress. I will encourage the student to be involved in their own learning by asking them to self assess themselves and rate their level of confidence with a skill or learning focus.
