Experience:

I am a primary teacher in the School of Research Sceince Dubai. I have a Bachelor of Education Degree and am in my 4th year teaching. I have a strong grasp of the British Curriculum and can help your child achieve their English, Maths, Science and broader curriculum objectives. Music coordinator and violin teacher in previous school. Violin teaching and orchestral experience.

Approach:

I aim to teach objectives in a way that the child will remember. For maths I am a strong believer in using concrete and pictorial representations first to foster embedding and understanding. For developing their English needs I aim to develop oral language first and apply this to the written language. I have reviewed much training in outstanding programmes such as Singapore Maths and the Read WrIte Inc phonics programme.
