Experience:

I am a fully qualified and experienced Modern Foreign Languages Teacher. I have over three years of experience in British schools and have taught to the UK and IGCSE curriculum. I also have experience of teaching in a school in Spain. My last position was at an OFSTED rated good Catholic schoolin London which has a high proportion of EAL and SEN students. During my time at this school, I taught French and Spanish to Year 7 to Year 12 and have been a form-tutor to a Year 8 form group.

Approach:

My teaching philosophy is based on an optimistic view. I believe that all of my students, with the help of the right tools, will be able to overcome the difficulties that learning a foreign language might present. Therefore each of my students will be guaranteed the opportunity to express him or herself to the best of his or her abilities. I believe that one of my best qualities as a teacher is my ability to inspire confidence in my students so that they feel comfortable expressing themselves regardless of their level of ability.
