Experience:

My teaching experience consists of 9 years, both in the United States and abroad, where I have worked with a wide range of ages and proficiency levels. Currently, I teach English A, English B and Theory of Knowledge to 11-12 grade students. Previously, I served as the primary ESOL specialist for kindergarten through 5th grade at a primary school in the US. In addition to working with children, I also have extensive experience in teaching English to adults and college students.

Approach:

As an educator, and an English teacher in particular, I believe it is imperative to be passionate about what you do. This passion translates into well-thought out and engaging lessons that grab the students’ attention and deepen their understanding of the subject matter. When planning, my aim is to create lessons that are of high-interest and relevancy to my students, while challenging them to strive for a level outside their comfort zones.
